Hi Tony!
Most people don’t even take the time to tell a person how to reach their goal. I want to thank you for everything and for responding to my messages. Sometimes I just test people to see if they really care about my career and you do. You can continue to send me some tips on how I can accomplish my goals, because you inspire me a lot. Thank you for caring.

Acting Classes for Kids

What they're like at
The Playground Acting Conservatory in LA

Do you want to know what acting classes for kids like?

For young people, who are thinking of getting into the acting business, who would like to become actors, many have heard that it is important to take acting classes, but if you have never taken them, it could be difficult to imagine what they are like. In this short video interview with Gary Spatz, considered to be one of the best acting teachers for kids in the country, he talks about what his classes are like at the school he founded in Los Angeles called The Playground Acting Conservatory for kids. He touches on what kids learn in his classes, what ages he teaches and also on what real acting is all about.

Gary Spatz has been in the acting business for many years and has taught acting to and coached some of America's brightest young stars and has worked on Disney projects coaching actors in television hits such as The Rosanne Show all the way up to The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. He has also coached actors either in preparation for or on the sets of blockbuster movies such as Honey I Shrunk The Kids all the way up to Judy Moody And The Not Bummer Summer and Super 8. We highly recommend The Playground Young Actors' Conservatory for any young person who wants to learn the craft of acting.

Here on ActingCareerStartUp.com you can see some of the other pieces of this same interview with Gary. One of the most popular pieces of that interview for kids wanting to start an acting career is the one on the subject of kids who say they want to be on Disney Channel. Gary Spatz gives advice for young actors with that aspiration.

Also, if you are interested in acting classes for kids, but would also like to know whether it might be better to get an acting coach first or if you would like to know what an acting coach does, then you will want to see that part of the interview.

When we watch great actors on television or at the movies, they make it look so easy. It makes lots of people think they can do that too! However, it can't be denied that if you are really serious about wanting to start an acting career, you will have a better chance of having long-term success if you actually study acting, no matter how good your family and friends tell you are naturally. You will perceive lots of benefits from taking acting classes for kids. Gary Spatz himself says this too after his many years of experience in working with young talent.
