Hi Tony!
Most people don’t even take the time to tell a person how to reach their goal. I want to thank you for everything and for responding to my messages. Sometimes I just test people to see if they really care about my career and you do. You can continue to send me some tips on how I can accomplish my goals, because you inspire me a lot. Thank you for caring.

Finding Acting Jobs

Wanting to be an actor is easy. Actually finding acting jobs is the challenging part and that doesn't start with just looking for auditions! As I always say, it’s important to build a base and set yourself up for long-term success. Many actors still believe that all they have to do is to first decide to want to be an actor and that their first step is to go out and get an agent or submit to casting websites to get jobs. That is so wrong and if you yourself have been doing that for any amount of time, you already know that it isn't a winning strategy. That's why on one hand it's really not that difficult to be successful as an actor (by the way, successful to me means just being able to make a living as an actor and not becoming famous. Fame is a by-product, that might or might never happen.). The reason it's not so terribly difficult to enjoy success as an actor is because the vast majority of people out there who want to pursue an acting career,

1) don't know how to start,

2) they do it for the wrong reasons, which leads to not having the necessary motivation to get through the tough times and

3) they are not willing to work hard and do what's necessary.

So if you

1) do know where to start and learn all the steps to go through in the right order and learn the business side of acting,

2) do it for the right reasons and

3) are willing to work really, really hard, harder than the competition to get acting jobs then you already are a step above most! Of course you have to have the basic characteristics of an actor as well.

There is much more to it than that and furthermore, there are a lot more ways of finding acting work than most actors even imagine.

Below you will find some links to pages that, if you are the average person who believes the things I mentioned above, will open your eyes to the great possibilities you can actually create for yourself to find the acting work you want.
