Acting Schools In Australia
Most of the acting schools in Australia are based on a conservatory style of training, which is due to the fact that most Australian Universities offer actor-training programs in their courses of undergraduate study. In addition to this, gaining in popularity, are privately run acting schools that will offer one single method of training in either a full-time or part-time training capacity. Schools such as NIDA and WAAPA have famously rigorous audition phases that potential students need to make it through the admission process, where as you will find that other studios have different criteria for admission. This may be based on your level of experience or an interview that will be conducted by a member of studio staff. All of this information regarding applications can be found on each individual school’s website.
