An Exclusive 9-Part Interview With
Acting Teacher Wendy Ward

When you study the craft of acting you will want to make sure you choose the right teacher for you. That's not always easy. It might take some trial and error. ActingCareerStartUp.com can give you some tips on how to choose your teacher and acting school. When I say find the right teacher, I mean finding the one who cares and who teaches you in a way that is easy for you to learn. You want a teacher who can not only teach you, but help you to get results, help you to improve your acting skill as quickly as possible.
To find Wendy Ward I actually interviewed several differnt teachers, but non gave me the feeling as she did as someone who really cared and who would push me to my limit and demand that I do the work that was necessary to make myself better. From that first meeting with her to my last class she confirmed that initial feeling I got from her.
I consider Wendy (pictured here to the left) to be my first real acting teacher. Before I met her, I had studied with other teachers, but none of them helped me to develop my acting skills so quickly and profoundly. What I learned from her in her classes and at her studio is so important for me that I had to share it with you, my visitors to ActingCareerStartUp.com. If you are seriously considering starting an acting career or if you have been acting for a while and not making much progress, then I would strongly recommend you read this entire 9-part interview.
Part 1: How Wendy started teaching and why she founded her acting studio in New York
Part 2: Entrance requirements to the Ward Acting Studio
Part 3: Wendy talks about why it is important to study acting if you are serious about an acting career
Part 4: Wendy goes into depth about the benefits of acting training
Part 5: An interesting story about one actress' audition and why she got the job
Part 6: Wendy talks about Sanford Meisner and his acting technique
Part 7: Here Wendy goes into depth about the characteristics of the Meisner technique of acting and what the benefits are
Part 8: Tips on starting an acting career
Part 9: Wendy talks about aspiring actors and their usage of Facebook
