Acting Techniques
Actor Denzel Washington when in front of the camera, makes acting look so easy. He really becomes the character he portrays. During his films we actually forget that he is Denzel and become immersed in the fact that he is that character. He is just one of many examples of excellent acting. I get questions all the time here on ActingCareerStartUp.com from people who want to improve their acting skills. Many want to know: |
"How can I cry on cue? or "How do I memorize my lines" or "How can I get over stage fright?" or "How can I make my acting look real?"
Others will tell me that, "I went to see an acting agent, but they told me I need more experience."
So how do Denzel and other actors make acting look so real? Every really good actor has first of all gone to school to learn how to do that and many have acting coaches even though they are already very good actors. In acting school, you learn a way of acting, a method, a technique. It is a a way to help you to be able to get into that role you have to play, cry when you need to and to make your acting look as real as possible time after time after time.
