Hi Tony!
Most people don’t even take the time to tell a person how to reach their goal. I want to thank you for everything and for responding to my messages. Sometimes I just test people to see if they really care about my career and you do. You can continue to send me some tips on how I can accomplish my goals, because you inspire me a lot. Thank you for caring.

The Actor Headshot,
What Is It And Why Do I Need One?

Right from the start of your acting career, it's important to know that an actor headshot is your business card. It's necessary because before they actually meet you,
Talent agents, casting directors, producers and directors want to see something of you that lets them know whetheror not they should call you in for an interview or an audition. It helps them to see if
you could be the right person for their project, play, film or television show.

It's called the actor headshot, because it is a picture of your head area only and could go down to the middle of your chest area, but no more. What is really important in a good headshot is that your eyes are visible and have a strong expression in them that communicates something. It about much more than just looking into the camera and smiling. It's about owning the camera and being in command of yourself. A good headshot photographer can help you achieve that, so choose him/her carefully. The guide below will help you with that.

How To Make Sure You Get A Great Actor Headshot

The following are some page links on which you will find all the information you need with regard to headshots, such as:

*What casting directors expect from your headshot when you go in for an audition
*How to get a headshot photographer:
*10 things to look for when choosing a headshot photographer
*10 questions to ask a photographer before you agreed to let him/her take your pictures,
*What makes a good headshot and how to make sure you get great headshots with a great expression and
*What a good headshot looks like (there is also a link to a website that will show you that as well,
*Everything you need to know about how much to have your headshots retouched. In other words, once you have the picture already taken, how much you should have it altered to look differently than you really are. For example, some people want to have the dark circles taken away from under their eyes or have moles removed from the picture or other blemishes removed. I interviewed a photo retouching specialist who talks about five things you should consider when getting your pictures retouched.

You will find the answers to all those questions and more right here: www.actingcareerstartup.com/headshots.html
