Hi Tony!
Most people don’t even take the time to tell a person how to reach their goal. I want to thank you for everything and for responding to my messages. Sometimes I just test people to see if they really care about my career and you do. You can continue to send me some tips on how I can accomplish my goals, because you inspire me a lot. Thank you for caring.

Actress Evelyn Vaccaro

Interview with Television Host & actress Evelyn Vaccaro: Part 3/9

Actress Evelyn Vaccaro

In part 2 of this exclusive interview with actress and television host Evelyn Vaccaro, she talks about her first experiences as a television host and how she got started.

Tony: So let’s talk a little bit about your acting experience. When did you start acting and how did you get into it?

Evelyn: My acting career started back in Miami when I landed roles in music videos for the European Production companies who shot their videos more like short movies. But I can clearly remember always performing for the family, since the age of three, who was always there to be my audience.  Speaking of music videos, the ones I did were a bit more clean cut. It was more about throwing down technical dance moves and not all about just being sexy.  But I do have to credit those music videos for my start in acting.

From there, I landed a couple of national commercials where I played the role of tourist eating in restaurants, riding horseback, diving into the pool, running down the beach, etc.  Then, while shooting an industrial, I met a wonderful and very talented director by the name of Trey Lindsay who later gave me my first lead role in his film Crimesight.  If you’d like to see how a wholesome host can become a heroic assassin, feel free to check it out at:   Trey and I met on a commercial, hit it off, started talking about high-octane action films and before I knew it, he wrote a role specifically for me. Talk about lucky break.  He was keen on giving me the lead role in his film mainly because of my athletic ability and my eagerness to pretty much try anything, including all stunts, fight scenes, etc.  He gave me a really incredible shot at a role I’ve always dreamed of doing which I will always be thankful for.  The film was meant as a calling card for all of us and is currently being submitted to film festivals.

In part 4 of this exclusive interview with television host and actress Evelyn Vaccaro, she has some advice for those wanting to start a career in television hosting. In the remaining 7 parts to this interview, she talks about everything from hosting auditions and what to expect, tips for the television host, hosting reels and how to make them and more.
