Finding auditions for the Disney Channel is one thing. Being called in to audition is another! After all, what good is it to know where there is an audition if you don’t know how to increase your chances of actually getting called in? Or taking it a step further, if you don’t know how to increase
your chances of actually booking a job!
Aside from showing you where you can find auditions, I feel obligated to tell you a few other things that might help you as well.
1. First of all, you should know that while there is a lot of competition to become an actor, the competition to get on Disney Channel is even greater. There is such a high concentration of young kids who want to fulfil their dream of being on one of the Disney shows or programs. That said, you have to do something or have something that will make you stand out from all the rest!
2. The vast majority of aspiring actors who try to get auditions for the Disney Channel have no experience acting, have never auditioned for anything before in their lives, have head shots that are unprofessional, do not know how to write a cover letter, have nothing to put on their résumés and more importantly, have had no acting training whatsoever. In addition, they have nothing to put on their résumés. Lastly, many of these kids send in their materials (head shot and résumé and cover letter) from cities and some times countries outside of the Los Angeles area, which makes it almost impossible for them to be considered.
3. Most young kids who want Disney auditions find that one acting agent or one source for auditions and put all their eggs in that basket. So they send in their materials to one place and then they wait…and wait…and wait and 90% of the kids never ever get called back! They are disappointed and then they give up their dream!
So, with all that in mind, I now tell you where you can find auditions for the Disney Channel (at the bottom of the page), BUT look at these tips to increase your chances for success.
Where To Find Auditions For The Disney Channel
http://corporate.disney.go.com/auditions: This is the official website for Disney Parks Talent Casting. Now you might be saying to yourself that you don’t want to work in the parks, but on television or in the Disney movies. But think about this. Getting into the Disney organization “through the back door” so to speak, could give you a great advantage to finally getting on television. I would think they would be more likely to want to give you an audition for television once you are already part of the Disney family! This way you could gain experience, learn about the Disney organization, feel more comfortable, have a lot of fun and all the while prime yourself for the big chance you really want!

What you’re doing is great Anthony. Whenever I read the things on your site, the interviews and even your book, I feel like if only everybody got to read this before they got started, they would be so much better off and everybody else (casting directors, agents, directors, etc.) would be so much better off too.

Hi Tony
I would like to thank you for helping me with the monologue question I asked you. I went to the auditions for a Drama course and I am happy to say that I have been accepted as a first-year student at the Tshwane University of Technology.
Please keep on sending me those newsletters and let me know where I can find books that will help me in my acting career.
Thank you once more.
Have a blessed day.

Hey Tony, thanks for the info, yours by far is the most useful, I am 30 years old, and I myself always (secretly) wanted to be an actress, but I never knew where to begin, so thank you. You have given me hope!
