CD April Webster's thoughts for new actors
Starting an acting career for those of you who have tried and failed, tried and are having some success and for those who are still trying is far from easy. It's simple if you have someone who knows what they are doing and who knows the business to give you advice and walk you through it, but it's not easy. Something that has helped me time and time again in my life is finding people who are really knowledgeable to give me advice. I had the chance to sit down with one of the top casting directors in Hollywood today to talk about just that; how to get started in the business and above all, what to expect.
CD April Webster was nice enough to let me into her home for a brief chat on that and other subjects related to starting an acting career. This video clip is the part of our conversation in which she has some thoughts for new actors about what to expect. Towards the end of this four minute clip, she has some specific advice about what to do if you are thinking of moving to LA or NY to start acting or whether it's best to stay in your home town. One of the jewels of this clip is for all of the actors out there who have stars in their eyes and who are more attached to the outcome of an acting career such as becoming famous.
Have a look and take this advice from one of the best of the best, one the top casting directors in Hollywood.
Based on what this Hollywood Cating Director said in the video clip here above, you might find some of these links and books below helpful.
This everything you need to know about one of the first pieces of advice the CD April Webster has for you.
If you do live in a small town, you'll find these seventeen tips helpful.
And if you decide you want to move to New York or LA to start your acting career, then here is everything you need to know about making the move.
