USA P-1
Entertainment Group Visa
USA P-1 Entertainment Group Visa
This visa is especially for a group of actors or performers in general (or for the people who are an integral part of the art) to participate in an event. This visa is not available to individual artists. To get a P-1 you must have two or more persons in your entertainment group and you must perform together as a unit.
To be eligible for this visa the group of artists must prove that they are established, well recognized entertainers internationally and that they have been maintaining this level of excellence for a substantial length of time. There are exceptions to this rule and this requirement may be waived if the group can prove that they have had to operate under special circumstances that have restricted them. An example would be a group that is geographically isolated or suffers from having only very limited media contact or any other factors that have perhaps held them back from being internationally recognized.
