Hi Tony!
Most people don’t even take the time to tell a person how to reach their goal. I want to thank you for everything and for responding to my messages. Sometimes I just test people to see if they really care about my career and you do. You can continue to send me some tips on how I can accomplish my goals, because you inspire me a lot. Thank you for caring.

Free Female Monologues

Below is a list of place to find free female monologues. But before you set out on your search, make sure you have all your ducks lined up in a row so that your acting career will not only take on the direction you want, but also as quickly as possible. So what are the so-called ducks?

- Actor Headshot
- Acting Résumé
- Acting Cover Letter
- All your acting marketing materials
- Acting Monologue

You want to give consistent messages to everyone you come in contact with. That said, now you can begin your search. In my Acting Career Quick Start Home-Study Course for example, I have included a headshot, cover letter and marketing evaluation. Why? To help my students ensure that all those things, plus the ones mentioned in the list above are all lined up and giving casting directors and talent agencies the same message about the actor. What you don't want is a message that is diluted, which gives the message that the actor is trying to be everything to everyone. It doesn't work!

With regard to your monologue, at the bottom of the page you will see some additional information about how best to memorize and perform it. To search for monologues, see the list below.

Also remember that having a good monologue will only serve you well if you can memorize it effectively. This method might help you.

One more thing. Here are 12 common mistakes that actors make while performing a monologue. You should try to avoid them at all cost! It might make the difference between you getting the part or someone else getting it! Click here to see what these mistakes are and how to avoid them.

You might find some more free female monologues on this page link as well. But almost even more importantly than all the things I have given you here on this page to think about, is the choice of the right monologue for you based on your type. You can perform a monologue very well, but if it isn't the right monologue for you it won't come off right and it will have your audience distracted from your real performance. Choose the right one first and then do all the other things I mentioned on this page.

The best of luck to you!
