To Tony,
I have to say this is the best acting site i have EVER been to. I'm sure you have helped many people begin their dream! I've helped in advertising your site to over 38 of my aspiring actor friends. You are doing an amazing thing by helping these people. I wish you the best in your acting career so that you may be a role model for all those who look up to your sucess.

-Rachael W., actress, Canada

Anthony,
Happy New year to you. I really enjoy your e-mails and your website. As someone who has just started the journey of becoming an actor I enjoy your site which is full of wonderful insights and answers to questions I have had, and it's funny but it seems as though every time you update your site, it answers a question I have been struggling with at that point.

Thank you for your website, you have helped me a lot as I know you have helped numerous others.

Have a wonderful 2008 and may you break a leg in everything you do this year as an actor.

Sam T Kelly, actor, Los Angeles, CA

Tony,
I did what you said and…I got two interviews with two agents! Thank you! Sorry but can I ask you…how do I prepare to go meet the agent? What do I have to do?
Marsha P., New York, NY, USA

Tony,
I just wanted to let you know that I copied a quote of your's and I'm putting it on my refrigerator when I move to L.A. this next week. Thanks for the continued encouragement to all of us trying to achieve our goals. Keep up the good work.

Best,
Kyle S., actor

A Free Websites Directory For Actors:
If You Have Little Money,
Here’s A List Of 20 Possibilities To Build Your Presence!

A Free Websites Directory

In this day and age, an actor website should be part of your promotional tools to get you noticed and help you to create a web presence. Not only that, but a website will also provide you with your own personal web space from to which you can send casting directors, agents, directors and your fans to view your profile, bio, actor headshot, your acting résumé, video and whatever else you want to say about yourself. All that, just might get you a job!

The Importance Of Fans

It’s 2007 and if you haven’t figured it out yet, if you want to be a successful actor, you need three things: talent, business skills and fans! That’s right. Fans! The more fans you have, the more likely you are to get cast. Why? Because producers know that if they cast you, your fans will pay to come see you at the movies or in the theatre or they will tune in to watch you on television.

In this day and age, there’s no excuse for an actor not to have some sort of web presence. The magnitude of your presence might depend on how much money you have. But just maybe! No matter if you have a lot of money or a little, you can build yourself a site.

Here below is a list of free websites for actors. I included Myspace and Youtube, just in case someone hasn’t already discovered them. But there are so many others as well. In fact there are more than the ones listed here, but I just want you to get the message, that you should do something to get yourself on the web. And do it now! Have a look at these links and start to figure out how you will set up your presence and more importantly, start to create your image and your voice. Start to create what you want to project. Have fun!

The following sites in this free websites directory offer the possibility to create a web presence by either creating a blog or free space to post photos, your own content, videos, any of them or all of them. They also offer the possibility to create a list of people, friends, connections and generally just network. The great thing about it all is that the more interesting your space, content, video is, the more people will share it with others. That means that you become even more well-known, you have created presence and you have created your fan club! From there it can only grow. And all these sites are free! But just remember, they are free, so whereas you can make a pretty good presence for yourself and get yourself a lot of recognition, they are free, so you can’t expect a whole lot in terms of image and quality.

So there you have it. If you really don’t have much money or if you like the ideas you see here below, go for it! There’s no excuse for not doing anything! So get started!
