Where To Find Good Movie Acting Scenes
There’s no reason why you can’t use a dramatic or comical monologue or a scene from your favorite movie for an audition or scene study class. As long as you have a connection with the material and prepare it in a way that allows you to make it your own (i.e. don’t just copy how the actor in the movie does it) then a movie scene will be an appropriate tool for you to use in your acting. Working on any well-written scene will be good practice to strengthen your acting and will increase your repertoire of scenes and monologues that you have available to perform.
First of all, be sure and check our directory for a rather complete list of websites where you can find duet acting scripts and monologues of all types and for all ages.
