Better Than Oprah Winfrey Show Tickets!
My Audition for OWN!
Better Than Oprah Winfrey Show Tickets
I just recently (June 2010) found out about the possibility to audition for Oprah Winfrey and Mark Burnett! They are having a competition. The winner gets to have his/her own show on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). It works like this. It was possible until June 26th to enter the competition and either audition live (Oprah herself wasn't at the auditions though) at one of the designated locations around the USA or send in a video (which I did). |
All the videos are uploaded on oprah.com. It is possible to view them and to vote. Out of the top 5 videos that receive the most votes, one person will definitely be selected to go to the next round of the competition.

The second round of the competition will be held in Los Angeles in July 2010. Approximately 30 people will be selected to go there. Most will be selected not just from votes, but from what casting diretors say. From those 30 only 10 will be selected to participate in a television show in September/October that I believe will last several weeks. The objective of that show is to choose the winner.
