Hi Tony!
Most people don’t even take the time to tell a person how to reach their goal. I want to thank you for everything and for responding to my messages. Sometimes I just test people to see if they really care about my career and you do. You can continue to send me some tips on how I can accomplish my goals, because you inspire me a lot. Thank you for caring.

I Need A Talent Agent!
Can You Please Introduce Me To Yours?

Introduce me to a talent agent: Part I

Don't ever ask someone you don't know and who doesn't know you and who has never seen you act before, to to introduce you to an agent they know. For that person it is a big risk. Think about it.
What if you had an agent and some guy you don't know asks you to introduce him to your agent. You don't know if he has any experience, but you suspect that he does not. You also suspect that he has not taken any acting classes. Would you do it?
Why not? you might ask.

Introduce me to a talent agent: Part II

Well here's why not.
Agents are very busy. Not only that, but your agent likes YOU and gets you frequent acting auditions. AND you sometimes turn those auditions into acting jobs. Your agent likes working with you, because you make him money, because every time you go out on an audition and end up booking a job, he gets a percentage (10%). You have CREDIBILITY with your agent.

Now, you have introduced this...guy, whom you don't know to your agent. He goes in for an interview and an audition with your agent. He bombs it! He is terrible! He doesn't know the first thing about acting. When his agent asked him for a monologue, he didn't even know what he was talking about! He had never taken any classes. He didn't know how to audition. He had stage fright so bad, that it ruined everything.

Introduce me to a talent agent: Part III

Now, what do you think your agent will think of YOU for introducing to him this...guy, whom you don't know? What do you think that will do to your credibility that you built up with that agent? You wasted his time! And he is not happy about it! What’s more, what do you thixnk will happen the next time you want to introduce someone else to your agent, whom you do know well and who you know is a good actor? What do you think your agent will say? Do you think your agent will want to meet that person? Do you think your agent will believe you if you say, “Yes, but this time, the person is really good.”?
Probably not.

See what I mean?

So don't ever ask someone to introduce you to their agent unless they have seen your work as an actor and DON'T YOU EVER introduce someone to your talent agent unless you have seen AND APPROVE of their work as an actor.

That's it!

Have a look at this interview with a talent agent in NY.

Here is a method you can use to find an agent.

And if you use that method, this is how much it could cost you.
