A Website for Actors
In part 2 of this interview Robert talks about what he did to get ready to go to the showcase for actors in LA. In this, part 3 of the interview, he goes into more detail about exactly what he did to prepare for the trip and the showcase in which he would meet with casting directors and talent agents.
Robert Presley Jr.: What you needed to do before you go, its best that you have an audition reel down- now if you don’t have it down, it's not a deal killer which I found out, which I thought it would be its not, but its helpful.
Anthony Smith: Ok so you need a reel.
Robert Presley Jr.: ...You need to have an actor website or some web capability – Actor’s Access offers that for instance. There is also information on ActingCareerStartUp.com about free resources on the web that let you build a website. They might not be ideal, but at least it's something if you can't afford anything else at the moment.
Anthony Smith: Ok so you need a web presence a website for actors. Correct?
Robert Presley Jr.: You need a web presence. You don't necessarily need to have our own website but you need to have a web prescience and Actor’s Access can help provide that.
Anthony Smith: I have an article about that on the website too. So you need a web presence, you need to have monologues ready, you need a reel, you need a headshot, resume…what else?

End of part 3. In part 4 of this interview, Robert talks about other things that are needed to have a chance to get talent agent representation at an actor showcase such as headshots. He gives some good detail as to what kind of headshots are needed.
